Here at Wheelsaway we’re not just about getting you the very best price for your car, we also want to help as many people as possible through our service. How do we do this? With your help! When you get an offer for your junker, we give you the option to donate a portion of your profit to one of our charity partners. The amount you donate is up to you. It might be called the “Donate-a-Car” scheme, but you don’t need to donate the entire car!

This system has been tried and tested by our sister site over in the UK, which raises over £100,000 for a wide range of charities every single year.

How to Donate a Car

1. Get a quote: Just like any vehicle coming through Wheelsaway, all you need to do is enter your vehicle details (make, model and year – or VIN, if you know it) to see your initial junk quotes.
2. Speak to our team: We’ll get in touch to discuss your car in more detail. Quite often this conversation actually ends up in you getting even more money for your car, so it’s worth taking the time to be as accurate as possible!
3. Let us know how much you want to donate: Once you’ve been given a final price for your vehicle, we’ll ask if you’d be happy to donate any of the sale to one of our charity partners. You can donate anything from $5 up to the entire value of the car – it’s entirely up to you!

That’s all it takes! It’s really that simple. We’ll collate all of the donations made by customers just like you and pass this on to the charity. You can then relax safe in the knowledge that not only have you got rid of the burden of a broken car, but you’ve done some good in the process!
